If its more than 2-4 weeks go for a refeed 3 days.. first day eat maintenance,  2nd day 1.5 times of maintenance calories. During this process make sure you fat calories are low. Carb should be high and protein should be 1g/lb body weight. A single day wouldn't make much of change for leptin levels. You should refeed for atleast 3 days and get back to deficit.  This will jump start your fat loss once you go back on deficit.
