JalsaKrishnnudu Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Hi mamalu,I'm a F1(opt) student. I'm getting married in August. I wud like to get my future wife with me when I come back. To block the visa date online one of the forms(DS 160) asks for Sevis number,without which I'm not able to block the date. But I cudnt process a dependent I20 for her because we are not married yet and dont have a marriage certificate. If I wait till after my wedding to process the dependent I20, she might not get a visa appointment date in time. If she already has a date blocked, my univ will process the I20 soon and help me.My question is1) Is it possible to book a visa appointment date now without the sevis number?2) Can we put in my Sevis number for application to block a date and when she gets her's will we be able to change it on the DS 160 form online?3) Is there any other option available.Please do reply mamalu....
