Yeah, almost 20-25 services are now completely online and you do not need to visit any GHMC offices for the services. 

Driver's license is issues by RTA...not GHMC.

But death certificates, birth certificates, property taxes and valuations, trade licences, renewals, vendor permits, house construction permissions and most of the things by GHMC are now issued online...no need to visit GHMC offices for these works. Pay online and the necessary document will be available as PDF and all that you need to do is to print..

But for the passport, its pretty much online and we need to book an appointment and submit all the docs and document verification happens then and there itself...

Don't know if this police verification is happening still...
