Its good! They also came out with a Proposal to increase the minimum salary of H1b's from 65K to 90K. Till now a lot of companies were bringing in folks on salaries way below the market and making a profit at their expense. One more area where the scrutiny should increase is Payslips as most of these body shoppers brought folks in and left them to their own devices if they could not get billing. Basically bench was illegal. All the violators should be prosecuted so that it will eventually lead to good.

Some of these offendors let the candidates out with 70:30 , 80:20 agreements putting the onus of finding work on them and in some cases not providing insurance and other obligations under law as employers. These partners in profit need to be investigated and barred from ever applying for the visa. Their misdeeds should not escape the statute of limitation and any complaints against them should be investigated retrospectively.

There are known satans in the garb of respectable entities and once the skeletons start rolling out of the cupboard , America can judge, is it the fault of the candidates or these greedy middlemen, who serve nobody except their own pockets and greed. More needs to be done . #H1bScrutiny (edited)
