No it’s not my experience. I have friends working there went for coolie jobs later tried in IT. It was very hard to get a job and most of the people around you would be working in coolie jobs which made him to go back to coolie jobs career. Very few will be lucky to get a IT job. Coworkers also not friendly anta.

New Zealanders in general aren't known to be a very friendly bunch, except perhaps towards tourists perhaps.

Lived for 4 years in New Zealand.

Easily one of the brightest spots of my career and life. Very clean, beautiful, corrupt free.

My experience has been very very positive and memorable. Lived in Napier, Hastings, Auckland and Wellington.

The locals were super nice and helpful.

Generally if you speak good English and  showcase a willingness to integrate you should have no problem in finding friends. Typically Desi's tend to fail in this aspect and to cover their lack of social skills blame the natives.

I found friends at college, gym, workplace, bunjy jump groups etc.,

But for transparency - it is important to know that by virtue of NZ being a small country - it is a given that opportunities are very limited. You are talking about a country of 4.5 million people - almost 3 million less than Hyderabad's population. Unless you exactly know what you are doing - you would be well advised to look for countries like the US.

NZ lo salaries anthe ekkuva vundav bro .. IT jobs just picking up. Australia ithe inka better option if u get PR. NZ is good for business as it is mostly tourist place .

Akkada Chinkis and Desis ekkuva .

computer stores -Chinkis

Taxis -Punjabis

Hotels /Dairy -Gujju

Restaurants-Tamil /Telugu

IT lo HCL pacca  vundi and CTS anukunta vunnaru .

pay is negotiable so give bigger figure and they will come down or match it.

good luck

thank you brother for sharing your piece of experience & views.... its very informative and revealing....  I think you have covered almost all the points which I am looking for... Except the salary point..

And from what I have been through I feel it is little tough to ace an interview compared to europe & india. I will make a note of all the points which you have stated above.
