TampaChinnodu Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 పార్కింగ్ రుసుం రూ.6 అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చిన 24 స్టేషన్లలో 13 చోట్ల పార్కింగ్ సదుపాయం ఉందని మెట్రో అధికారులు ప్రకటించినా.. మొదటిరోజు కొన్నిచోట్ల మాత్రమే అందుబాటులో స్థలాలు ఉన్నాయి. మియాపూర్ డిపో, కూకట్పల్లి, బాలానగర్, రసూల్పురా, నాగోల్ స్టేషన్లలో పార్కింగ్ వసతి కల్పించారు. వాటిని ఎల్ అండ్ టీ సంస్థ ప్రైవేటు ఏజెన్సీలకు ఇచ్చింది. ద్విచక్రవాహనానికి రెండు గంటలకు రూ.6, ఆపై ప్రతి గంటకు రూ.3 చొప్పున వసూలు చేశారు. కార్లకు మొదటి రెండు గంటలకు రూ.12 .., ఆపై ప్రతి గంటకు రూ.6 తీసుకున్నారు. పార్కింగ్ లేనిచోట్ల రహదారిపైన వాహనాలు నిలిపారు.మరుగుదొడ్ల వాడకానికి రుసుం వసూలు చేశారు. Assuming average office person stays in office for 10 hours. That is lot of parking cost each day. Unless to you walk to stations on both sides , doesn't seems like a good deal. Quote

Thats the target of urban transport systems..to discourage motorists. eventually all the residential corridors will be connected to the nearest metro station so that people don't need to bring their own vehicles to stations thus reducing the congestion.... It would take a while to identify the patterns and plan accordingly... Quote
