Yahoo messenger type chat rooms back! yay!!

check it out guys. but there are not many adult chat rooms.

Its just a IM messenger that lets you chat across different IM platforms, from IRC to wechat. 

but popular ones like whatsapp not yet available. and probably will never be.

I love it. Finally found the best IM client for my phone. Never liked whatsapp.

I'm sure there's an android version. I can't vouch for how good it is.

Yahoo Messenger..!!! Nostalgic man...and Yahoo chat rooms were so awesome...those were the days of webcam chats...

which one is it ? Riot IM messenger ?

riot.im i think. I use a different client that is affiliated to the matrix network, because I am not on android. but my wife uses riot.im in IoS.

these chat rooms are mostly created by the users themselves. people with IRC accounts, wechat accounts, etc all can use one single platform to talk to each other. There's talk of bridging Telegram too.

there's not yet audio and video capability. Its just messages now. I don't think there will be audio, video capability in the future too, because platforms like IRC don't have it.

after yahoo messenger, oneindia chat rooms were helpful now as they too are down and omegle doesn't have many desis, this seems to be ray of hope 

 

btw how is desi population in this?
