I rant here based on how my Tamil friends (including srilankan tamils) talk of dalits. I actually thought TN was the worst offender among southern states in this.

but the new NHRB data shows that I'm completely justified in ranting here. After all, both TG and AP have registered higher atrocity cases with lower population than TN.

I pat myself on the back, and bid adieu. That I even felt bad at times seems quite stupid now.

absolutely. I hate people who justify these atrocities as blowback for reservation. which many many Tamilians have been doing for the past 3yrs.

I thought AP/TG were better. especially TG, that has people from this db claiming it as a much more egalitarian society. apparently not. Even TG has more cases than TN, and it has less than half its population.

bro, its easy for me. many people have started using their caste names in TN too it seems. There was even a debate show on this topic recently. people who keep caste names vs people who don't, and it requires someone of the stature of Karu Palaniappan (a known director) to make emotional arguments to win the case. That's how far TN has slid into the caste abyss.
