Based on discussions i am connecting all dots and trying to understand crypto.

Can you help me understand further. Let say if i have to buy Ardor .. first with USD i have to get Bitcion with Bitcoin i have to Buy Ardor is this correct?

Likewise when selling Covert Ardr --> BCT --> USD is this correct?

Here my confusion is where is the wallet comes  into picture? what is Hardware wallet is here? why we need to store in wallet?
what is the wallet address here.

Yes buddy...Most of the altcoins are paired with BTC so ofcourse u have to get btc first with USD and then buy an altcoin.

wallets are where you store purchased coins. so that they canot be hacked and stolen by hackers. ( its like adding a private key to public wallet address ) ..you should never share this personal wallet address to anyone.

When you store in wallets provided by sites where u purchased ( by default ) ..there is a chance for that site to be hacked..and u may lose all ur coins.

so hardware or paper wallets ( pdf or print outs) canot be accessed on internet so there is no chance of hacking.

Its all about security..better watch videos on youtube..bcoz transfering to hardware or paperwallets is little tricky and if you lose them...u will lose all ur coins.

Note: Its not a Must thing to do..but to be on safe side its must. and enable 2FA too.
