Question regarding NICU care for infants

Hello recently my cousin had kids delivered prematurely. They came from India not long ago and employer insurance is there 1500/5000..

5000 is max out of pocket per family

How does insurance cover NICU ?

End Bill is estimated around 2.4 million dollars 

 

So what questions he needs to ask insurance guys to make sure NICU is covered under insurance ..

 

Will there be any strings attached like, certain services in NICU is not covered etc ?

He doesn't know much and naaku knowledge kooda minimum , insurance vademo 80% will be covered antadu..I guess 20% lo he has to pay out of pocket maximum only right not 200,000$.

5000 max he will pay anthe as it is max out of pocket, not 200k

ask him to enjoy his parenthood rather than worrying about these bills

Normal gaa Life time , annual Maximums kooda vuntunde. But Obamacare introductions tho avi ban chesaru . Dont know about future.

• Hospitalization

Anta ledu.mavodu 3k per day.that too billed to insurance.insurance will pay less than 30% of it and says discounted.so final ga <100k total bill, dantlo meevodi deductible pay chestey chalu
