High tension prevailed once again at Osmania University after an MSC Physics student Murali committed suicide at Maneru Hostel on Sunday. Scuffle took place between the students and police forces when the latter tried to enter into the hostel to shift the body to government hospital morgue for performing autopsy. Students closed all the doors but police broke down the gates and entered into the hostel and shifted the body to the hospital amidst protests from the students. Meanwhile, students demanded Rs 1 crore an ex-gratia and government job to kin of the deceased. Police found suicide note.
