Recently my friend passed away ...I want to coordinate a donation from all my friends . Please help me in writing a message  which I can send to all my friends about this donation

Write email or whats app group if you have, just put 2 lines direct to the point.no need to write sympathetic paragraph.you dont have to be ashamed as you are not doing for your benefit.also add a line with what do u want to do with money.

Can someone come up with a better idea/sentences other than the ones posted by @evadra_rowdy ? 

Good attempt my friend..Your thought is more noble than the attempt..

We have seen so many shameless assess begging in the name of death, But never came across a real noble thought like this one..
