A tipper lorry coming in opposite direction hit the director's car at East Coast Road in the capital city. However, he escaped with minor injuries. The car was damaged completely in the head on collision. Gautam was travelling to Mahabalipuram from Chennai when the accident was happened. Reports says he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital and undergoing treatment for minor injuries. He directed films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi also. Em Maya Chesave with star cast Naga Chaitanya and Samantha was his debut film in Tollywood. At present, Gautham is working on Dhuruva Natachathiram with Vikram, Andrea Jeremiah and Aishwarya Rajesh and others. Quote
