yeah on planes they do it... even here in US that too especially women (well what I noticed) I just hate it their stinky feet right by my side..I usually tell the flight attendant.. India lo aithe lechi godava vesukodame..

yeap I have seen many times, nen pedtha apudu apudu but make sure no one is there.
