Subramanya Swamy as PM.

Who likes the idea? surprisingly, I do. even though he's probably on the list of top 5 public personalities I hate.

1. He will radically transform the Indian business climate. Him being stuck in 70s economics is actually helpful to India here, because he'll implement policies that'll push supply side economics. somewhat similar to reagan in the US in 80s.

2. He may be loudmouth casteist TamBram, but not a murdering psychopath. He will rein in the rowdy elements on the Hindutva side. He's possibly the closest to an efficient dictator that India can hope to have.

3. He will pass policies that will strengthen brahmin/upper caste hold on Indian social/economic life, but he'll make sure that only smartest among them are given leeway. Not everyone.

4. He likes to show off that he's brilliant, so he will try to justify canceling reservations by first taking a comprehensive census. I trust that he will find a solution for the reservation conundrum better than many social scientists have been able to.

5. Even though I hate patriots, I think that him being a patriot may be helpful in the short run, but bad in the long run.

6. He'll break things. And he'll devastate parts of the economy, and force them to change course.

ofcourse this is my opinion because I'm an uppercaste fcuk who won't have to suffer the consequences of this mad man becoming the country's top leader. but I think he may be better than other 'liberal' similarly casteist elite boys, or Hindutva murderous mob leading rowdies.
