will have to start from scratch again. Mine is in process of PERM.

Chances of RFE's are high as well. That's the reason I am worried now.

It also depends on the change in designation. What is your past and present designations? Is there any cahnge in job responsibilities?

As long as the job responsibilities are same .. no need.  Sr role to a principal role needs no need as an example
