SUSPENSION WITH PAY PENDING INVESTIGATION

Hi All,

I was suspended with pay today for violating my company's internet policy (I was browsing bitcoin trading websites, which got flagged in the server). HR made me write a statement of events that had occurred and then I was escorted out the building. HR took my personal email and phone number and said they will open an investigation and notify me of the results, whether I am going to be re-instated or terminated. I also lost access to all the systems including payroll.

I am on an H1B and FTE with this company since last 6 years and this is my first contact with HR in such circumstances. I also have an I-140 approved beyond 180 days but priority date is not current.

Please advise on the next steps.
