H1-B EXTN RFE WITH DEGREE COURSE MISMATCH

hi All,

 

I have received an RFE for H1-B extension saying that " Your Course of Degree (B.E in Mechanical eng with Subjects )  specified that Subject name does not match to the current Computer programmer Position .

I have Computer programming as one of the Subjects chosen during my optional subject. I have replied to Attorney with this details to respond to RFE showing my marks sheets reflecting that Subject to get RFE Approved Along with my exp in IT with 15 years

Also my RFE is filed under Regular processing .

> Will this data helps for my Case to get approved

> Any idea how long it will take with Nebraska center to get Responses for RFE in Regular process

Looks like Non CS degree people's applications are having tough time with extensions.

no chances for approval. Plan for india trip and UScceeis is very strict with new rules

not all. But frequency seems to be increased for such applications.

number of rfe's have increase at a record level........lyk almost 70% of the applciations are getting rfe's.......but not denials......only 5% are getting denials....

Denials  rate is more than 5% these days.
