hi cyndy, Satellites and spacecraft fall to Earth all the time. Vehicles in lower orbits get bombarded by small particles in the planet’s upper atmosphere, and that eventually drags them downward.

back in late 70's , my parents use to tell that lots of people in andhra had sold their lands and enjoyed their time when the new paper ran an article about skylab falling and people dying , they thought any how they are dying so why not sell land and enjoy

Ya my parents also told same stories. One boy who was born during that time was named sky lab
