Batman_fan Posted January 8, 2018 Report Posted January 8, 2018 It was nov 2008, my first semester in Gator nation. one day my friend called me and said his classmate's laptop was stolen while she was waiting for bus. It was in broad daylight but there were no one with her or in that area. The guy came in car, grabbed the laptop she was holding and then jumped into his car and ran away. She complained to cops but no reply for a week. After one week, we saw an article in univ news paper that says an athlete was arrested regarding a stolen laptop. We thought cops found the guy who stole classmate's laptop but it turned out it was different case. There were actually 4 laptops stolen in that month but only one accused. That guy is Cam Newton. He transferred to different college before univ kicked him out. He was back up QB for Tim Tebow before he left and becoming starting QB for Auburn, where he excelled and won Heisman Trophy. Irony is Tebow failed at professional level, Newton succeeded. Quote

Good for him. College football is a multi billion $ industry in which the most imp. Attraction to the game.. the players.. arent paid a penny. Whereas coaches and everyone else makes millions. shame on ncaa. Time to pay compensation to the players. Quote
