i haven't watched any show, except a couple 5 min clips here and there. I agree that he has a higher moral ground compared to those who abuse him. But addressing someone as illiterate in public is avoidable, as a public figure. public platforms are not platforms for pissing contests. Even if the other person tries to degrade himself on the platform, he should maintain calm and make good arguments, and let the viewers decide.

he may have used dalit card before but i saw yesterday..some pk fan president called and was rudely telling kathi o back down or face consequences..kathi responded saying..dont u dare show ur upper caste arrogance to me

You're right, but his Intention is not only  to shame them  but  to showcase what happens when you deal with a common man with some sensibility. It tells even a common person can go against a powerful person still can win the race. It also reminds  you of your caliber and how long can you exploit your mental abilities to ward off silly insects that feed on caste based politics in most sensible way possible in a democratic country.
