But did not get any information from my employer, maybe he did not receive the approval copy. When should the employment date start : When it was approved or when employer receives the hard copy of approval notice ? In the event if the employer says he did not receive the notice yet even after 2-3 weeks what should be done ? Employer should start paying me from day 1 right ? It was through a mid-tier consulting company and he did not pay anything for the petition. Quote
