SVVR Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 If the buzz from the film nagar sources is to be believed, Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil Akkineni will work under the direction of maverick director Ram Gopal Varma. Going by RGV’s recent track record Akkineni fans will be left shocked and surprised at the news. Akhil will work under Shiva director, but it won’t be a feature film. Varma is planning an interesting short film with the young Akkineni actor. Nagarjuna is reportedly impressed with the idea of RGV and has given a positive nod for the short film. Nagarjuna always has high regards for RGV irrespective of his poor track record and numerous controversies. He is currently doing a movie with the Sarkaar director in spite of his terrible track record of late. Nagarjuna also entrusted Ram Gopal Varma to give a memorable film for Naga Chaitanya. But that film Bejawada had ended up as a forgettable dud. Although Varma has been struggling to make full feature films lately, his ideas always work as short films. So we can expect his short with Akhil to be sensational as well. Quote
