పెద్దపల్లి ఎమ్మెల్యే దాసరి మనోహర్ రెడ్డి....సంక్రాంతినాడు తన నియోజకవర్గానికి వస్తున్నారన్న సమాచారం కాల్వ శ్రీరాంపూర్ మండలంలోని  గంగవరం గ్రామ రైతులకు తెలిసిందే. ఎమ్మెల్యేను నిలదీయాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్న గ్రామస్థులు దారికాశారు. వారిని చూసిన ఎమ్మెల్యే....కారు దిగి వారిని శాంతపరిచే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. పొలాలకు ఎస్సారెస్పీ నుంచి నీరు విడుదల చేయడంలో జాప్యం జరుగుతోందని ఆగ్రహంతో ఉన్న రైతులు మనోహర్ రెడ్డిని నిలదీశారు. ప్రభుత్వం నీరందిస్తామని చెప్పడంతో పంటలు వేశామని....సకాలంలో నీరు విడుదల చేయకపోవడంతో వందల ఎకరాల్లో పంటలు ఎండిపోయి నాశనమయ్యాయని మండిపడ్డారు. ఈ హఠాత్పరిణామానికి ఖంగుతిన్న ఎమ్మెల్యే అక్కడి నుంచి వెళ్లిపోయేందుకు ప్రయత్నించారు. అయితే ఆగ్రహంతో ఉన్న గ్రామస్థులు ఆయనను వెంబడించారు. పోలీసులు...ఎమ్మెల్యేను కారులో ఎక్కించి సురక్షితంగా గ్రామం దాటించారు. ఈ ఘటనపై ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖ మంత్రి హరీశ్ రావు గుర్రుగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఈ విషయం పై ఆయన అధికారికంగా స్పందించలేదు. ఓ వైపు సీఎం కేసీఆర్...ప్రజలందరికీ 24 గంటలు విద్యుత్ - నీరు సరఫరా చేస్తున్నామని ప్రగడ్భాలు పలుకుతున్న సందర్భంలో ఈ ఘటన జరగడంపై సర్కార్ కూడా సీరియస్ గా ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. అంతేకాకుండా సర్కార్ పై తెలంగాణ ప్రజల వ్యతిరేకత ఈ స్థాయిలో ఉండడం పలువురిని ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురిచేసింది.

Tom bhayya, maadi peddapally district... Pakka Manohar Reddy ye gelusthadu akkada... Its a very minor issue and Manohar Reddy owns Trinity schools and colleges to which most of the villagers in that constituency send their children to. I have also studied there for two years. Though he’s not a great politician, but with TRS wave, he will definitely win again. Last time he won with 60,000+ majority.
