Quantum Mechanics has hit a dead end for the past 50-60yrs, without any development in underlying mathematics. Scientific research cannot be done simply by thinking up duality possibilities that are explored in Indian literature. pretty sure no new scientists are poring over Indian literature for their eureka moments.
