In A Hilarious Goof-Up, Karni Sena Burns Fellow Member’s Car While Protesting Against Padmaavat

Karni Sena has apparently lost all the sense while violently protesting against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. They are burning down vehicles, vandalising different areas across the nation, but what happened recently proves they have gone crazy to a whole new level. They burned down their fellow member's car in Bhopal mistakenly while opposing the release of Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor-Ranveer Singh starrer movie.

What happened exactly? They called a protest at the Jyoti Talkies intersection on Wednesday. About thousand people had gathered to stop the screening of the film, and it soon turned violent. So much so, that they burned down Maruti Swift car parked near by and later realised that it was their fellow Karni Sena member Surendra Singh Chauhan’s car, who lived in the vicinity.

Talking to PTI, Bhopal DIG Dharmendra Choudhary said, “A car caught fire during the protests. It is a matter of investigation whether the vehicle was torched or it caught fire. We have detained three protesters from Jyoti Talkies Square in this connection.”
