IamBhagatSingh Posted January 29, 2018 Report Posted January 29, 2018 Hi bhayyas, Little intro about me , working as java programmer from 7 years , came to US on onsite 3 years back after working in india for a desi company for 4 years. Not married . Problem started after joining company. I never really got good exposure in these 7 years , i always think i survived out of luck, dont know how i am surviving even now. I feel like i know nothing . I never really got hard tasks during job, just a minor defects to code .All my colleagues and friends who came along with me and later to US , changed the companies because of low pay (my company pays the least i believe for 7+ experience ,its 60k) , also because my company dont file green card. i really dont want to go back to india atleast for few more years, my only option is to look for other opportunities .I am fearing to change the company thinking i will be fired in the new company. Parents are asking me to marry . I dont know what to do . Another problem is i am forgetting the concepts i am preparing for the java interview .I Feel like i dont have enough skills to survive outside Please give some advice and suggestions . Quote

Think about how OPT guy with no experience is surviving in USA. Start preparing and take interviews, 8 out of 10 interviews it will be same rotta questions from online websites. once you take 3-4 interviews you will know the pattern. since you have low confidence and not very experienced, go with desi employer, so you do contract jobs, okati poyina enkoti dorika varaku you will be safe atleast. 1 Quote

IamBhagatSingh Posted January 30, 2018 Author Report Posted January 30, 2018 Thank you everyone for your suggestions . Got little confidence . Need to concentrate more on preparation and giving interviews . Also please suggest how to gain realtime experience like a 7 years programmer, i dont have any scope to learn in my current project. Most of my work is basic java and excel work . Even if i crack the interview , how difficult will it be to survive there, please tell some tips so that i can prepare in that way . Quote
