A well educated high earning guy is considered attractive for having a family. He can take care of the girl and kids better because of more money at his disposal. In turn his kids will go to better schools and colleges and likely have a better life. In fact the boy who earns well, more or less guarantees a comfortable life. Some boys fake jobs and salaries and it is only right for the girl’s parents to ask for it. Girls are selected based on their looks and boys based on their earnings.
