any one has experience carrying 65" tv to india (hyd) on emirates

any one has experience carrying 65" tv to india (hyd) on emirates... if so please share it... its used tv i bought 2 years back.. all i know so far is emirates said its 175$ for extra size baggage, if its same size as check in bags its free i.e. instead of one check in bag we can carry that TV if its same dimensions and same weight..

one friend told me he had to pay 250$ in india in customs + 175$ for emirates .. ...but he carried a new one on emirates..any info help is appreciated.

addition of the length breadth and height of the box should not cross 118 inches.

I think I paid around $150-160; endukante vallu INR lo ki final proce convert chesi tax vestharu. Akkada canara bank stall lo pay cheyyali and vaadu $$ kuda teeskuntaadu. No Issues.

It makes more sense as the TV I bought costs around $2100 (Close to Rs 140K) in India

Nenu Amazon receipt PDF copy ni JPEG lo ki convert chesi, edit chesa. If you are lucky enough, copy the invoice online and paste in word and edit.

Final printout genuine ga, patch works lekuda clear ga kanipisthe they won't care.  

Nenu Samsung original box packing meeda home depot vaadi box petti cover chesa. I don't know why they didn't open the box in the airport. 

Probably because I wrapped the boxes with 2 big black plasters and I didn't argue a single word with them.  $400 invoice ki Rs 9200 tax pay cheyamannaru and I paid it. Bribe isthe emanna taggedemo, but I didn't wanna do that.
