Yes..you can talk with cc banks and also collections if debt already went to collections. 2008-09 Recession lo  ms ayyaka paid job raka unpaid internships to naku vellayi and job vachaka i paid them talking to debt collection agencies. But naku collections agencies ki vellayi kabatti horrible ga padipoyindi credit score for 3-4 yrs. 2014 nunchi malla credit cards vachayi. You dont have to run away cheating banks and thats not really ethical too. Kattuko mellaga matladukoni. Kattina records of delinquent accounts will be in report for 7 yrs FYI.

yeah. he dont have the intention to cheat. he want a viable solution.

My last suggestion just hold the ripples in this year only it will be 4$ or so so just pay monthly balance for some time 

if total became Assam just go for debt consolidation 200k ni 80k sestaru monthly 1500$ payment vuntadi for 4 years

Nammabudhi kavatledhu bro. Evadhu antha amount petadhu. Either India lo invest chesi vundali or casinos lo avagothi vundaali. 

1. Melaga pay cheyamanu konchem konchemga on a long term.

2. There are financial institutions who will go and negotiate in-between u and the banks. But they charge u based on the amount I guess. At the least 30-40 percent Anna tagutandhi. But at least they will try to combine all his loans into one single loan and try to get low monthly payments.

3. Ask your friend to directly speak with the bank for negotiation and also low monthly installments. They will definitely agree. I know a person who did the same. 

But your credit score will effect for 2 and 3. But much better than filing a bankruptcy.....
