ya logically speaking ivvakkarledhu but ikkada restaurants are setup that way... waiters ki salary ivvaru or bare minimum istharu and expect the customers to top them... so valla service decent ga unte minimum ivvali... 

I do the same with indian restaurants... vallaki ivvaru owners ani chepthe I wont tip... cash unte istha ledhante lite

If you don't like the service then less tip, and if the bad service come with attitude then no tip. 

I do give an explanation why I did what I did on the back of the receipt.
