QX60 is not that bad as you make it sound. Its a pretty decent vehicle. You have to put it in sport mode and you should not feel any lag. 

I own a 2015 and like it so far in every way. DA and Tech package is must.

Agree with the performance of BMW but every car will cater to a certain user base and for someone looking for reliable luxury SUV with ample space in the third row, I find QX60 to be the best.
