I dont know how the knob system is.. nenu unna room lo normal knob was easy to replace with a keyed one.. just 2 screws undo cheyali anthe..

 

room khaali chesinappudu i replaced it with original one from rental property guys..

You don't have to drill, the inner bolt is the same for all door latches. Its just the handle that changes. Check cheyyi malli. Take apart the one on the door and try to look for the same manufacturer, the holes previously cut will match. No need to drill.

After that, roommate ni dengai manu. waste munda kodukulu
