If they are trying to complete the backlogs with the status quo approach, Assam confirmed. If not, it is still a good news that they are somehow working on clearing the backlogs (removing per-country limit etc..)

which is generally half the current legal numbers. We will get better details in next 48-72 hrs for sure. We can decide how we want to see our selves in future based on the outcome. I don't want to sound negative, but we are too much expecting out of immigration reform, Indians are the only ones suffering and no one really cares or lobbying the senate. All those of Indians who got GC/Citizenship, don't give a  to help the community and help fellow Indians. HR 392 has literally no support. Only people in Dallas are talking but outside Dallas, hardly any desi knows. The framework only try to help Americans and not doing anything to legal immigration, forgot Indians. They are happy with current legal immigration system. We continue to work for employers and make them earn money.
