Wharton ..  are you talking abt philly. What happens to that city? If so pls share your views

I didn't like Philly and i will never think to settle down there . Avg crime rate is more, not a great place to settle down in terms of job market, quality of life and old city. I told him in a different perspective though. Eppudaina move avvachu location kadu while studying course work imp ani i intended to say.

Not true at all. Course work almost all the universities lo similar model meede untayi, it's not so much the coursework. It's the brand value and alumni network that matters more when it comes to MBA. Coursework chadivesi MBA evvadu PhD cheyyadu except in rare situations, antha coursework meede focus unnodiki economics or finance lo MS better MBA kanna.

Sounds like you have a bias towards Philly, Philly lo job market for post MBA not bad at all. Plus it's pretty close to the financial markets and Wall St in NYC so that effect will be there. Location nachakunda Wharton brand ni evvadu odulukodu btw.

I didn’t talk about mba grad job market . I was talking about my personal preference that I don’t like Philly . I would like be at a better place where there is bigger market so that I can buy a home and settle down .  He asked why I don’t like the place and I answered to that .

Second topic ,  location bavundi ani  MS/MBA a place lo cheyaru . Course work college chusi chestaru taruvata move avvachu ani cheppanu as he was asking locations and not colleges . The context is entirely different .

Read my previous post .

MS ki MBA ki compare chestunnava @3$%. People do MS for a completely different reason than they do an MBA for, seems like you don't know anything about it. Also as I said earlier, MBA brand value and alumni network matter way more than the course work. You can learn the same coursework on a Udemy course, LOL.

MIT and Harvard Boston deggara unnayi . Traffic  , bad roads , heavy snow and old city ani manestava dude admission vaste ? Wharton is also not in great city. Most of the best schools are not in great places . Graduate ayyaka ekkadikaina povachu . Course work and university chusuko . Rest all are not important.  Good luck !

I didn’t compare at all . When did I compare ? I said you don’t choose a place and decide university . I told you choose university and course work and go with it . I neither talked about mba nor ms . Don’t know what you mean .

I choose a university based on brand value . Ivy League ki velledi danike for that network. Don’t know what you are laughing at or laughing about .

Tons of people choose a place and decide the university as well. I have friends that moved to Boston for this specific reason. I am laughing since you are changing your own tune, one second you said the coursework was more important now you are saying you choose it on brand value. You seem confused yourself on what you want, either ways that's your problem. Do whatever you like.

I said college /university since my first post along with course work . You read what you wanted to read . I can tell my opinion and can’t talk about tons of people who are out there . I would choose university and course work not location.  It’s upto TS to take it or not .
