Does any one use brass/copper buckets for bathrooms in India? Is it high on maintenance like cleaning regularly?

hard water aythe cleaning is needed regularly. normal water ki not much maintainence

what happens if we dont clean the black and green thing which forms? 

Also any alternatives in market where they can give stainless brass/copper?

india lo stainless steel vi dorukutai, but if you prefer antique look, then try aluminium buckets...veetiki maintainence easy ee compared to brass/copper buckets
