but 3 750 ml bottles will put you over limit by 250 ml

vaadu aaapi dabbulu kattamannappudu , sink choooopiii 250 ml parabostha ani anu , lite teeeskoni pampinchestgadu

this worked out for me in 2013 

customs folks mostly will not bother , they have bigger fish to fry coz of electronics and gold coming in

Just now my dad landed in India , Took a total of 4 bottles , 2  750ml bottles in two bags no issues ,

got custom connection in Hyd.......went only once.......carried 6 bottles ( out of one is 4 liters JW black label )

Nenu 750ml 2 each in each bag and got couple at hyd airport.. no questions asked ,did bunch  of times ..

I normally take 4 bottles... some times 5.

1 each in the 2pieces main of baggage ( single bag lo 2 bottles pedithe vaadu india lo X(cross) mark vestadu

2(3) X in hand carry - I always hide in the bag (don't showcase the bottles or dutyfree bag)

 

Btw, I travel from London Heathrow
