Mr. Naidu said he was looking forward to work with the Italian company and happy to note that its quality, construction and maintenance standards were of global standards. Earlier, in a meeting with senior executives of the Italian company, Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (AP-CRDA) Commissioner Cherukuri Sreedhar said trunk infrastructure creation in the capital city Amaravati has an investment potential of nearly ₹30000 crore and that the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) government has chosen the hybrid annuity model for developing the infrastructure, under which 51% was to be invested by the developer and the balance would be contributed by the CRDA. He suggested that AIE could submit bids for the development of LPS layouts for which tenders worth $ 1.50 billion were invited, and invest in the inner and outer ring roads in Amaravati. Italian Consul General Stefania Costanza and AIE CEO Bernardo Magri led the delegation who stated that they have been in the business of designing and laying roads for over 100 years. Quote
