Is there any legal process that i can follow? you need to take power of attorney from your friend. even if you sell locally and pay of to loan, he need to sign the title later..or you need to have POA from him. Why he will sign the Title?? He is not the Owner of the CAR.. OWNER OF the car is still BANK... ASK your friend to CALL Bank and tell them what to do.. They will tell the procedure.. You Friend from India will be able to sign and scan the documents needed and you only go and DROP the car at Dealer .. Quote
