doesn't mean all religious extremist rebels are defeated, a few factions remain. but its mostly a turf war.

sort of like in Kashmir now. govt attacking people it considers terrorists.

not everything is about religion. and even if it is, things are much more complex than 'muslims kill themselves if left alone'. 

if you believe that trash, then it is your deep seated hatred for muslims that is speaking. own it, and stop pretending.

try crimethinc.com they have a couple of podcasts under the title rojava. but they talk about other aspects of the syrian situation. the podcast is not current, but if you try at some later date, they will mention what's happening in Syria right now in the next episode perhaps. you can find other podcasts similar if you try.
