ప్రకాశం జిల్లా పశ్చిమ ప్రాంతాన్ని సస్యశ్యామలం చేయడంతో పాటు నెల్లూరు, కడప జిల్లాల్లోని వెనుబడిన ప్రాంతాల్లో 4.45 లక్షల ఎకరాలకు సాగునీరు, 15 లక్షల మందికి తాగునీరు అందించేందుకు, ప్రకాశం జిల్లా పశ్చిమ సరిహద్దులో వెలిగొండ ప్రాజెక్టును చేపట్టారు. శ్రీశైలం ప్రాజెక్టుకు ఎగువన సుమారు 23 కి.మీ దూరంలో... కృష్ణానది నుంచి వెలిగొండ జలాశయానికి నీరు తీసుకురావాలి. అది ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్మాణ లక్ష్యం. ఇందుకోసం కొల్లంవాగు సమీపంలో రెండు హెడ్‌ రెగ్యులేటర్లు నిర్మించి వాటి ద్వారా 22 కి.మీ పీడర్‌ కాలువ నుంచి నీటిని రిజర్వాయర్‌కు తరలించాలి. అందులో తొలిదశకు సంబంధించి 7మీటర్ల, రెండో దశలో 9 మీటర్లు వ్యాసంతో రెండు సొరంగాలను దోర్నాల సమీపంలోని కొత్తూరు గ్రామం వద్ద ప్రారంభించారు. ప్రభుత్వ ప్రాధాన్యతగా గుర్తించిన ఏడు ప్రాజెక్టుల జాబితాలో వెలిగొండను చేర్చడంతో వీటి పనులు 80 శాతం పూర్తయ్యాయి. ప్రధాన హెడ్ రెగ్యులేటర్ పనులు కూడా వేగవంతంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. మరిన్ని వివరాలను ఈ వీడియో ద్వారా తెలుసుకుందాం.

Ysr is people's policy guy

His schemes target people 

I like his health care n fee reimbursement schemes n his water projects

But his corruption made him useless at the end n one cannot forget his faction background

But I didn't like those who can afford also used fees reimbursement

Cbn is the best administrator in terms of finishing the works

No can beat cbn in that aspect 

Cbn is much of economist initially after 10 years of opposition he realized people's policy should be mixed with economy
