So BJP bhakths will be furious, same strategy appplied to everyone.. are you saying media is hyping unnecessary things? nationalizing a discourse (even if its hindu-muslim) when it can be kept and solved locally? I agree with that. but there's a problem with what you are saying. in 2009, the year I went to India on a casual trip, a dalit social scientist I met on a bus ride to pondicherry, showed me how many dalits are killed every for the flimsiest reasons just on the outskirts of pondicherry. Look at the official stats, dalits killed were about 100 or so in TN that year, when it would have been 100 around pondicherry alone. It doesn't get reported in local media or in national media? so what to do about that. tell. so BJP bhakts (of which you are also one) are upset that Hindus are being tarnished unnecessarily, but will you own up to how many occasions Hindus escape collective shame, by hiding under their supposed tolerance? Media reports these clashes when its good business. Either someone is paying them to report it (to divert attention), or they make money out of contro stuff. It is the way we live in. its what makes you keep your BMW, and 2000sq ft house in TX. --- anyway my point is, our generation has internalized the idea that competition is everything. Ofcourse that hasn't made them strive for excellence. It has made them tell themselves that they are awesome, and spit on people below them. This is why next gen kids growing in these kind of households where parents don't have a sense of humility about their 'achievements' may grow up to be fascist supporters. btech kids failing in classes is not a big issue. those who hadn't failed are not building the next spacecrafts anyway. I don't know what they are even teaching at school. discipling a kid is not a big deal. you just have to have something interesting to teach him, and be open to be taught by him. thats all. Quote

Also the reason why Hindus beat Muslims is to show them their place. its intimidation. there's no need to investigate on any 'actual reason', unless there's an FIR. I know right wing media will come up with stories about 'property dispute', or 'loan recovery', or 'love jihad', and they may be true in some cases. but in general, one can assume that Hindu beating a muslim man is just to assert his dominance in the society. I don't agree that it should become a national news. but I feel sad for BJP bhakts who are in denial about this aspect of Hindu society. Quote

If 80s, 90s born kids turned out to be psychos like in this db and in the regular crowd, what will these kids grow up to be? Truly scary. They will have open mind, if they don’t like they will say to ur face not like 80s n 90s kids, like how they vent on db!!! Quote
