If the state turns against the centre, then they may stop Polavaram (already they are not releasing any funds) and they may even take decisions against state's interests. I think the other alternative that works in the state is having some other government in the centre, which can happen only in 2019. So, until then, the only option we have is to have a friendly fight and get our acts together by the time of elections. 

People can take decisions emotionally but if governments also take decisions emotionally, then it will lead to problems. 

I think the same thing happened during the state division. Politicians choose to decide against state division rather than spending time on putting what actually works for the state and that proved to be a disaster in my opinion.
