Seen the dog in Kaala poster? Fans want to shell out Rs 2 crore for it!

he value of anything that gets associated with Superstar Rajinikanthskyrockets. Remember the dog in the Kaala poster, which majestically sits next to Superstar? There is now a heavy demand for that canine.

Animal trainer Simon, who has worked in hundreds of films, in an interview with Behindwoods, revealed that the dog named Mani has become a hero overnight.

 

Simon also stated that many fans from Malaysia were eager to buy Mani - "Few people offered about one crore. They were even ready to pay two crore for the dog since he has acted with Rajini sir. But I refused because we are taking care of him as a child. Who will auction their child for money? So, I declined the offer."

Talking about the association Mani had with Superstar, the dog trainer said, "Rajini sir will feed him a pack of biscuits every day. That made our (trainers) work easy since the star and Mani had a good rapport."

"The first thing he (Rajinikanth) asked after seeing Mani was 'will he do it?'," said Simon.

Over thirty dogs were auditioned before Pa Ranjith okayed Mani.

Mani is now 2 years old and has already done four films. He recently did a film in Kodaikanal. And is all set to do another project, Simon said.
