#Modigadiki: BJP Filed Police Complaint Against KCR

A police complaint has been filed against Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. KCR allegedly referred the PM as 'Modi gadiki' during one of his recent speeches.

Telangana state BJP's minority cell vice- president Qavi Abbasi has now filed a police complaint against KCR stating that the comments made by the CM were objectionable and derogatory. He added that the sentiments of BJP cadres were hurt. Earlier, state BJP leaders had demanded an apology from the CM for his remarks.

When asked about the demands of apology from state BJP leaders and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's objection against his comment on Modi, KCR denied to have made any objectionable comments. He added that he had even checked the video footage of his speech and that didn't find any derogatory remark. He went on to say that Modi was a very good friend of his.

Meanwhile, KCR's son KTR and daughter Kavitha have both tried to put a full stop to the controversy by saying that 'Modi gadiki' remark was just a “slip of the tongue†and not an "intentional comment".
