Ika pothe main topic loki vodham. Separate country is not a joke even on paper because:

1. South Indian presence in Defense forces is very minute and there are some military personnel from TN but not from AP.

2. These AP dogs search for caste of a popular person but rarely have guts to face bullets from enemies states like Pakistan -- Compare with the likes of  Punjabis, Rajasthani Jats, Haryana Jats, one in every 5 families will boast of a martyred soldier.

3. Its just after WW2 that lot of people realized that war is not a solution for any problem in the world.

4. A militarily weak Middle East has gone to dogs - invaded by every country from the West.

5. Commodes/Reds/Cops etc do not have any b0lls to stand in war, especially commodes who can only torture innocent SC/STs in their colleges in Guntur/Krishna distrricts. Pakka state ki vosthe vonga betti thenguthaaru veellani.

6. If the Northern states were not there which faced the worst of Islamic invasion, there would not have been anything called as South India. South always was shielded from Islamic invasions, so was living peacefully since centuries.

7. Because of reason 6, you never find a really popular or famous freedom fighter from South India.

8. Many surnames of Jat caste in Rajasthan/Haryana were erased because most of the males sacrificed their lives fighting against Mughal Empire first and then British Empire.

9. Just learn 1971 War between Pakistan and Bangladesh. 1971 is not a far history. Press was not very rampant those days, so your father/mother would not have known those atrocities - A militarily weak Bangladesh lost 3 million people and almost every woman of Bangladesh was raped by Pakistani Army in front of their families. This is what people like @uttermost like about Islam.

10.  CBN lanti hype masters ni nammukunte yemi jarugudho okkasaari 1948, 1965, 1971, 1999 lo jarigina wars gurunchi thelusukondi. --- What I mean is a coward and crook like CBN does nt have iron b0lls that Indira Gandhi had to ward off enemies.

Question is too hypothetical. In the nuclear era, no more invasions.

Does South India have nuclear weapons?

The same problem came when the Scottish Referendum mania was at peaks. All the nuclear installation were in remote Scottish villages and remote controllers were there in 10, Downing Street, London.

If South India were to separate, New Delhi will keep both the nuclear weapons and remote control.
