Nalgonda: Congress Legislature Party Deputy Leader and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Mondayclaimed that the attack on the State Legislative Council Chairman was accidental. He said he got angry over the “meaningless speech of the Governor.” 

 Speaking to the media at Choutuppal, he said he had never seen such a budget meeting in his 20 years of political life.The ruling party leaders had beensuppressed the voices of the Opposition leaders intentionally. The ruling party leaders and associates had been  “robbing the public money in crores in the name of welfare and redesign of projects,” he claimed.

Venkat Reddy alleged that estimated cost of Kaleshwram project was raised from Rs 30,000 crores to 70,000 crores for “commissions.” On one hand, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been betraying the people by claiming that the Telangana was richest state in the country, and on the other hand he was pushing the State into debts, he said.
