predictions are like probability... our ancestors have the capability of 99% prediction... but we lost their knowledge due to various reasons like wars/death no successors for the knowledge etc..

so whoever we have now they are somewhat predicting .. even Nostradamus is not always right... 

indian astrology is far better. 

no astrologer can himself know if he is 49 % or 51% right about this.. predictions may not be quantized.. in fact only digital and computerized values can be quantized.
