I hope marriages are slowly phased out.

For one, it'll help if govts can get behind treating single people with more respect (tax breaks, adoption procedures) than for married couples. It'll instantly enable people like me to get out of marriage. and for smart kids in the future to never even consider the mistake their parents made (marriage).
