South India should absolutely secede from India. You can go on a rant saying whatever you want to about brotherhood blah blah bullshit, but the fact is that the Southern states have been pulling the weight of the BIMARU states for more than seventy years. 

It's enough, South Indian states should come together and get the hell out of the Indian union.

It will happen, may not be today but BJP is making sure it's going to bury itself in the South. BJP is irrelevant in the South, and even if it ends up winning the next elections the writing is clear on the wall that once they lose the little hope that they have of establishing themselves in Southern India they will be even worse when it comes to budget allocation to the Southern states.

ఈనాడు అమరావతి: కేంద్ర పన్నుల్లో రాష్ట్రాలకు ఇవ్వాల్సిన వాటాను నిర్ణయిస్తూ కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక సంఘం చేసే సిఫారసులకు 2011 జనాభా లెక్కలను ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకోవడాన్ని దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలు తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నాయి. దీనిపై కేంద్రానికి తమ వాదనను బలంగా వినిపించేందుకు దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలన్నీ ఏకతాటిపైకి వస్తున్నాయి. అవసరమైన వ్యూహాన్ని రూపొందించేందుకు కేరళ రాజధాని తిరువనంతపురంలో ఏప్రిల్‌ 10న ఆర్థిక మంత్రుల సమావేశం నిర్వహిస్తున్నాయి. ఈ సమావేశానికి కేరళ ప్రభుత్వమే చొరవ తీసుకుంది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ నుంచి ఆర్థిక మంత్రి యనమల రామకృష్ణుడు, ఆ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి ముద్దాడ రవిచంద్ర తదితరులు హాజరవుతున్నారు. శనివారం ఉదయం తెదేపా ఎంపీలు, ఇతర నాయకులతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నిర్వహించిన టెలికాన్ఫరెన్స్‌లో యనమల ఈ అంశాన్ని ప్రస్తావించారు. కేరళ ఆర్థిక మంత్రి తనకు ఫోన్‌ చేసి ఆహ్వానించినట్టు చెప్పారు. ఆర్థిక మంత్రి తదితరులు ఈ సమావేశానికి హాజరయ్యేందుకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి అనుమతినిచ్చారు. కేంద్ర పన్నుల్లో రాష్ట్రాల వాటా నిర్ణయించేందుకు 13వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం వరకు 1971 జనాభా లెక్కలనే ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకునేవి. 14వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం 1971తో పాటు 2011 జనాభా లెక్కలను ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకుంది. రాష్ట్రాలకు వాటా నిర్ణయించడంలో నాలుగు అంశాలను ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకుంటారు. వాటిలో జనాభా ఒకటి. ఇదివరకు జనాభాకు 27.5 శాతం లబ్ధి(వెయిటేజీ) చేకూర్చేవారు. 14వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం 1971 జనాభాకు 17.5 శాతం, 2011 జనాభాకు 10 శాతం లబ్ధి చేకూర్చింది. 15వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం దగ్గరకు వచ్చేసరికి జనాభాకు సంబంధించి పూర్తిగా 2011 లెక్కలనే ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకోనుంది. దీనిపై దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి తీవ్ర వ్యతిరేకత వ్యక్తమవుతోంది.  14వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం 2011 జనాభాకు పది శాతం వెయిటేజీ ఇస్తేనే చాలా నష్టపోయామని, 15వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం 2011 జనాభానే పూర్తిగా ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకుంటే పూర్తిగా అన్యాయమైపోతుందని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాయి. దీనిపై ఇప్పటికే ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి అరుణ్‌జైట్లీకి, 15వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం ఛైర్మన్‌కు లేఖలు రాశారు. ఇటీవల హైదరాబాద్‌లో 15వ ఆర్థిక సంఘం నిర్వహించిన ప్రాథమిక సమావేశంలోనూ దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాల ప్రతినిధులు తమ వాదన గట్టిగా వినిపించారు. 1971 జనాభా లెక్కలనే ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకోవాలని గట్టిగా కోరారు.
